People often have questions when they first hear about Cast Member Church. That is normal. We are not your typical church, and we do not try to be. Everything we do is built on simple relationships, honest conversations, and learning to follow Jesus in the middle of real life and real work. These common questions will help you understand who we are, what matters to us, and how we walk with Cast Members as they discover who Jesus is and who they are becoming.
1. HOW DO I KNOW IF CAST MEMBER CHURCH IS FOR ME?
Cast Member Church is different from a traditional church. Our mission is to walk with Cast Members who have not yet met Jesus and help them begin a simple, natural journey with him in their everyday lives.
We do not offer weekly services or programs. We focus on simple relationships and small gatherings where life, faith, and real conversations help you know Jesus, become like Jesus, and reveal Jesus in your world.
If you are looking for a traditional church experience with services, studies, and programs, what we do may feel unfamiliar. And that is completely okay. We know we are not for everyone.
We are happy to introduce you to a few local churches that love Cast Members and may feel more familiar to what you are used to.
2. I AM NOT RELIGIOUS. IS IT STILL FOR ME?
Yes. Cast Member Church is a safe place to explore Jesus without pressure or expectations. You do not need to know the right words or have everything figured out. We don't either. You can bring your questions, your doubts, and your real story. We meet you there.
3. I DO NOT SEE A WORSHIP SERVICE TIME. HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Everything we do begins with relationship. The first step is simply reaching out and starting a conversation. From there, we walk with you at a pace that feels natural. There are no sign ups or services to attend. Just real connection that grows over time.
4. WHERE DO YOU MEET? IS THERE ANYTHING IN PERSON, OR IS IT ALL ONLINE?
We meet in the places where people actually live their lives. That might be a table at Starbucks, a table in a Disney park, a living room, or online if you live far away. The location is never the point. The connection is what matters.
5. MY SCHEDULE IS UNPREDICTABLE. CAN I STILL BE A PART OF THIS?
Yes. We know that your Cast Member life does not follow a normal weekly rhythm. That is why we keep things flexible and personal. Your journey with Jesus should fit the life you actually live, not a schedule you wish you had.
6. IS CAST MEMBER CHURCH CONNECTED TO DISNEY? IS IT SAFE FOR ME TO JOIN?
We are not connected to The Walt Disney Company in any capacity. We simply care about the people who work there. Everything we do is personal and private. You will never be put in a position that risks your job or feels uncomfortable.
7. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL GATHERING LOOK LIKE?
It looks like people being real with one another. Sometimes that is four or five people around a dining room table, a living room filled with friends, or a few of us in an apartment sharing life together. There is always food. We share a short, Jesus-centered talk (usually including a modern parable) for about fifteen minutes, followed by a conversation that welcomes questions, observations, and discoveries. We always offer to pray for anyone who would like prayer or has something happening in their life.
It is simple, honest, and relational. These gatherings give us space to practice the simple principles and patterns of following Jesus together in the flow of everyday life. No stage. No program. No pressure. Just people helping one another follow Jesus.
8. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE BIBLE. WILL I FEEL OUT OF PLACE?
Not at all. You are exactly who we are here for. We use simple opportunities like Jesus Conversations and 3-2-1 Bible Practices that help you explore Scripture in a way that is clear, meaningful, and practical. You do not have to be knowledgeable or experienced. You get to start right where you are.
9. I AM NOT A DISNEY CAST MEMBER. CAN I STILL COME TO A GATHERING?
Our small gatherings are designed specifically for Disney Cast Members. These spaces work best when Cast Members feel completely safe, unobserved, and free to talk openly about their lives, questions, and experiences. We refer to this as avoiding the “fishbowl effect,” where people feel watched instead of known.
Because confidentiality and emotional safety are essential in our circles, we limit our gatherings to Cast Members only. This helps us guard trust and protect the relational environment that makes Cast Member Church what it is.

10. HOW DOES CAST MEMBER CHURCH HELP ME DISCOVER MY IDENTITY AND PURPOSE?
We believe Jesus reveals your true identity and calling. Our approach is relational rather than program-based. We walk with you as you listen to Jesus in your everyday life, pay attention to what He is stirring in you, and recognize your unique Kingdom Expression in the Disney culture and beyond. As the principles, practices, and patterns of Jesus take root, they begin shaping how you live and how you reveal Him in your world.
11. CAN I BE A PART OF CAST MEMBER CHURCH IF I WORK AT A DIFFERENT DISNEY PARK AROUND THE WORLD?
Absolutely. Cast Members from many Disney locations connect with us. Cast Member Church is not limited to one park or one country. We walk with people wherever they are, whether that is Orlando, Anaheim, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Shanghai. Your location does not limit your ability to grow in Jesus or to live out your Kingdom Expression. We can connect with you online and help you form simple relationships right where you live and work.
