Life is lived in a perfect tension between BATTLES and BLESSINGS. Sure, at times one will command our attention more, but the other is always present. In the times when blessings abound, we shouldn’t be caught off guard by the battle lurking around the corner. In other times when we are facing a difficult battle, let us never forget the blessings that continue to surround us. When we embrace the tension between blessings and battles, we experience the joy of Jesus, no matter the circumstance. And the world will look at us in amazement.
