Cast Member Church is always looking for resources to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. The apps and podcasts listed on this page are a few tools that have inspired, encouraged, and challenged us—no matter where we have found ourselves on our faith journey.
These resources are HIGHLY recommended, and we encourage you to add them to your phone or tablet. Once you do, find out who else is using them and take the time to share what you are learning. It's simply another way to be a global community with a common mission.

LECTIO 365 DEVOTIONAL APP
Lectio 365 is a daily devotional app that helps you pray the Bible every day. Written by leaders from our friends in the 24-7 Prayer movement, this resource helps you engage with the word, fix your eyes on Jesus, and connect with God in prayer. Each devotion is around ten minutes. Listen to it while you are getting ready for your shift or riding the Cast bus. No matter when you use it, it's a great way to be Jesus-centered throughout your day. The app is available for IOS and ANDROID.
ILLUMINATED SOUL PODCAST
Bite-sized teaching, encouragement, and practical tools that help you respond to the negative thoughts, emotions, and occasional darkness life circumstances can sometimes bring.
For 10 years, from 1998 to 2008, Craig struggled with crippling anxiety, mood disorder, and clinical depression. At the end of it all, he had a profound healing encounter with Jesus. But, that was only the beginning of his healing journey. Unbeknownst to Craig, there was much he needed to learn about his body, soul, and spirit. He came to realize that his core issue wasn’t even depression, but how he was handling his thoughts and emotions and basically letting them handle him! So Craig wants to give back and share with you the tools and insights he has gained and continues to gain through his journey.

INNER ROOM PRAYER APP
Inner Room is an app from our friends at 24-7 Prayer International that turns one of our biggest distractions – our mobile phones – into a portable prayer tool. Jesus said, “When you pray, go into your inner room...” (Matt:6:6).
Inner Room is a prayer list app that equips, enables, and inspires you to pray, each day.
Add people and situations to your visual prayer board, then personalize it with photos and points to guide your prayers each day. And use Inner Room’s suggested categories to be challenged to pray in new areas – for your fellow CMs, those in your CMC family, your friends, or your country.
Group your prayers together in personalized prayer playlists, which you can organize by theme, time, or week. Then simply choose how long you’d like to pray, and Inner Room will visually or audibly guide you through your prayer time. Or, try Quick Pray and spend three minutes praying for three random items on your prayer board.
There are even prayer ideas to help you to get creative, with Bible verses and inspiration to help you connect with God in new ways. You can also receive prayer alerts about world events, and then add them to your prayer board. The app is available for IOS and ANDROID.
THE CHOSEN APP (TV series)
"The Chosen" is the first-ever multi-season series about the life of Christ. It's a Netflix quality show that tens of millions of people won't stop talking about. It's free and all you have to do is download the app.

READ SCRIPTURE APP
Wouldn't it be nice to have someone who could encourage you as you set out to explore the Bible and all the treasures found within? Imagine having a guide that would explain books and verses that might have seemed confusing before, but now, make perfect sense.
"Read Scripture" is a year-long Bible-exploration plan that brings alongside your reading, amazingly creative videos (produced by the Bible Project) that explain every book of the Bible, major themes of the gospel, and tips on how to read the Bible in ways that are simple and easier to understand.
The Read Scripture app is available for IOS and ANDROID.
